Cookie Policy

The short version
This website uses very little. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers embedded in the page, and nothing that follows you to other sites.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device so it can remember something between visits. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, and the identifiers a mobile app keeps on your phone — do much the same job, and this policy covers those too.
What this website uses
- Strictly necessary — a security token used to verify that a form submission came from this site and not from somewhere pretending to be it. Without it the waitlist form cannot work.
- Preferences — if you tell the site something like a reduced-motion or theme choice, that preference is kept on your device. It is never sent to us.
- Analytics — only if enabled, and only in aggregate: which pages are visited and roughly where from. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not shared with advertisers.
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell what we collect.
What the app uses
The Aligned mobile app doesn't use browser cookies. It stores a secure sign-in token on your device so you stay logged in, keeps your settings locally, and uses your platform's push token to deliver notifications. Our Privacy Policy explains what the service does with your data more broadly.
Third parties
Some things we rely on may set their own storage when you use them — for example the App Store or Google Play when you make a purchase, or our email provider when you click a link we sent you. Those are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Your choices
- Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary one will stop the waitlist form working.
- Most browsers offer a 'Do Not Track' or global privacy control signal. We honour it by disabling analytics.
- On mobile, you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings, and turn off notifications at any time.
Changes and contact
If we add anything that stores more than the above, we'll update this page and, where the law requires consent, ask you first. Questions go to privacy@aligned.app.
